The Founders

Digital transformation and strategic leadership of major accounts have shaped Rolf Theunissen's path for over 17 years in various leadership roles at WPP (Maxus, Essence, EssenceMediacom). His focus has always been on building teams and agencies in a way that makes a real difference for their clients. His long-standing work for one of the world's leading tech companies, Google, now forms the foundation for his understanding of modern marketing.

This means all activities must be harmonized from communication to product. The classic sales funnel no longer exists; today it's about enabling the right customer experience for the end customer at every moment, otherwise they will switch to the competition."
Robert Jacobi brings more than 20 years of experience in performance marketing and the development of scalable marketing and technology products, including twelve years of entrepreneurship. For the past ten years, he held leadership roles at WPP Media (Maxus, Essence, EssenceMediacom, GroupM), focusing on performance, product development, media activation, and MarTech integration. He was responsible for strategic consulting and operational control for demanding clients such as Deutsche Bank, RTL+, Friday Insurance, Dyn, Peloton, and Airbnb.

Christian Leipacher is a digital expert from the very beginning with over 25 years in the media and marketing industry. As a founding CEO, he successfully established the agency brands Maxus and Essence in the German market and led them to significant growth over many years. His deep expertise in scaling organizations and data-driven strategies positions him as one of the most experienced leaders for digital transformation and agency management today.


Our Approach
Through a strategic partnership with pilot, we leverage established infrastructure and systems that enable us to service even large-scale clients from day one.
While Stratum retains full autonomy over client leadership, strategy, planning, and campaign analytics, pilot acts as our fulfillment partner for the purchasing of traditional media, such as TV and radio.
